A fabulous box purse, vintage c1960, signed by Enid Collins, Collins of Texas, in her iconic style, on the inside of the lid as pictured and also on the exterior lid. Inside there is the vanity mirror along with the Collins signature on the interior lid. This pretty purse shows a very pretty carriage and is marked carriage trade and signed with the initials ec on the front. There are faux plastic jewels on the outside with beading and rhinestones. The stones are missing from the left wheel, one is remaining. I am enclosing the same shape stone but they are larger. Beading around the wheels is missing the goldtone color but looks fine as is.
The purse has its original clasp in excellent working order and its original hinge, also in excellent order. The bag is without any significant flaws; it has only the most mild of age and normal-use spots, here and there a tiny rub or ding, shows loving wear, all very minor. The paint is perfect and the pictures show the details. The purse is perfectly fine to use it exactly as it is.
This is an all original box purse, and is guaranteed vintage and authentic. The size is 11 1/8"W X 6"T X 2 3/4"D.
