Royal Worcester introduced this famous pattern in the 18th Century at the request of a British Earl blinded in a hunting accident. Legend has it that he requested a raised design so that he could feel the pattern. This creamer is part of a reissue of this pattern in the 1970's using the original molds. There are many versions of this pattern. This one is multicolored with a raised design and gold trim. It is marked on the bottom as shown. It is in excellent condition and was used sparingly if at all. There are no cracks, chips, flea bites, or repairs. We are offering free shipping on this item for our U.S. clients.
