Oneida Community White Orchid Soup Ladle
The White Orchid silver plate pattern was introduced by Oneida in 1953 and quickly became a favorite of post WWII brides in the 1950's. It is a stunning pattern with an orchid blossom on the handle. This piece is an all original, vintage, hollow handled soup ladle. It is not a made up piece. Both the handle and the insert with the bowl are silver plated. It is 12" long and in beautiful condition. It was used sparingly if at all. There are no dings, dents, or plate wear. Soup ladles in Oneida patterns from this era are hard to find. The ladle does not have a factory mark but is guaranteed to be White Orchid. The scallops on the bowl match those of the sugar spoon and gravy ladle. We are offering free shipping on this piece for our continental U.S. clients. Shipping and insurance for others will vary by location. Please e-mail us if you have any questions. We have been in business for 30 years. Your satisfaction is guaranteed
