The World Brand Company introduced the MOSELLE pattern in 1906. It has achieved almost cult status as of one of the foremost collectible silver plated flatware patterns ever produced. It is featured prominently in the MacLachlan book, "Collectors Guide for Grape Nuts". The place setting consists of three pieces, one each: 7" fork, 9" hollow handled knife, and a 5 7/8" teaspoon. These pieces are in extremely excellent condition with no dings, dents, repairs, or plate wear. They show minimal signs of use and a nice even patina from gentle use. This is particularly true of the knives which have their original plated blades. The World Brand logo on the blade is clear and crisp. The fork and spoon have the globe mark resting on crossed fork and spoon trademark on the reverse as shown. There is an extremely tiny, 1/8" mono W that is faint and hard to see on the fork and knife. The price is for one three piece setting and you can buy up to the number remaining. We are offering free shipping on this place setting for our U.S. clients. Shipping and insurance for others will vary by location. We have other pieces of this pattern in our shop right now and will be listing more serving pieces shortly. Please e-mail us if we can answer any questions.
