The Lauffer factory in Norway was famous for its innovate, Scandinavian flatware designs. They introduced the Vantage pattern in 1975. It is substantial weight, satin finished pattern. Towle Silversmiths took over the Lauffer firm and production was moved from Norway to Asia. The Norwegian pieces of this pattern are highly sought after. This serving spoon is 8 7/8" long. It is marked on the reverse with the Lauffer Norway factory mark as shown. This is part of a large pre-owned set that is in excellent condition with no dings, dents, or disposal damage.
