The period from 1903 to 1933 was known as the Carder era at the Steuben Glass Works. He was one of the founders and a gifted English designer, with a penchant for color, who directed the factory during that period. This is a champagne or sherbet from pattern shape #7346 and the color is a lighter version of the Pomona Green. The crystal is extremely clear, brilliant, heavy, and has a wonderful ring. It is emerald green crystal and not cut to clear. It has a very fine cut band near the rim and diamond cuts in the middle and stands on a square base with a finely polished pontil. It is 4 3/4" tall and the bowl is 3 1/2" bowl is 3 1/2" in diameter. Our photos do not adequately capture the rich green color and brilliance of the goblet. It is not signed.
