Whiting patented the King Edward pattern in 1901. This classic pattern remained a favorite and continued to be produced after Gorham Sterling acquired Whiting in 1926. This pattern is a classic rendition of the famous King designs produced in 18th century France. The cold meat fork is 9"long and has never been monogrammed. Note this is the large meat fork there are several smaller sizes. It is is excellent condition with no dings, dents, or bends. It is an early piece with the Whiting lion, W mark and the patent date of April 23, 1901. We are offering free shipping for our continental U.S. buyers.
