This stunning set of 10 antique dinner plates was retailed by the very exclusive New York City retailer Gilman Collamore. They were produced by Coalport and were sold from his shop located in the Wilbraham, a fashionable block of bachelor flats hotel located at Fifth Avenue and 30th Street. That retail location and the Coalport factory mark indicates they were produced between 1891 to 1920. The plates are part of the “Old Coalport” line that reintroduce early 19th Century designs. Each plate features an array of different floral bouquets that are hand painted over decals. The pattern is known as Old Coalport with blue trim. The pattern number is 7096. These gorgeous plates are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or other signs of excessive use. They do show occasional, very minor utensil marks when angled to bright light. They were used carefully and sparingly. The price is for the set. The set weighs eleven pounds and will be shipped in two cartons. Please email us if you have any questions.
