We are pleased to offer for your consideration this gold-encrusted pattern from the world famous French, Saint-Louis Crystal Company. It is one of St. Louis’s unnamed patterns but has been assigned the numbers SL7 or SL145 by one large national matching service. It is an exceptional pattern with fine gold encrusted bands of leaves alternating with berry clusters, fluted panels with vertical cuts around the main body of the decanter, and a ring of deep vertical cuts on the bottom. The gold leaf and berry borders overlay a lacey, frosted and etched crystal. Zipper cuts run the length of the decanter including the stopper. The quality is exceptional. This is the handled wine decanter. It is approximately 14" tall not including the cut stopper. This is a fifty year old estate piece and it still has its original foil label. This particular label was used after WWII. This design is no longer being produced. The decanter is faintly signed on the base as shown and is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. This is a gorgeous, expensive, world class crystal and would make a fine addition to any crystal collection. Please e-mail us with any questions.
