Our research indicates that this antique “Flying Bird” Mason's large rimmed soup plate was produced circa 1830-1848 when this particular factory mark was used. It is a stunning, well recognized pattern. The rim soup plate has a slightly scalloped rim, is 9 3/4” wide and is a very colorful and vibrant example of antique Mason’s ironstone. There are no cracks, chips, repairs, or excessive utensil marks. The gold outlines on the bird and flowers are intact. It is one of the finest examples we have seen of this pattern. We do note that the luster on the outer rim was not evenly applied when the plate was decorated. The price is per soup plate and you can purchase up to the number remaining. We combine postage, only charge what it costs us to ship, and refund any excess. Please email us if you have any questions. We have been in business for 30 years. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
