This Herend design of a garland of bright blue cornflowers was introduced in 1890 by Jeno Farkashazy, grandson of the founder of Herend. The origins of the motif itself go back to the 18th century French porcelain factories where it was said to be a favorite of Marie-Antoinette. This is a lovely covered bonbon with a delightful rabbit finial. It is 5” long and 4” tall to the top of the finial. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. It is marked on the bottom as shown with all the appropriate Herend factory codes and marks. This piece currently retails for $190. We combine shipping and only charge what it costs us to ship.
