This set of stunning orange knives with serrated blades on the top ridge are listed in old Gorham, circa 1893 catalogs as simply pattern 685. They are all sterling including the blades which are attached to hollow handles decorated with classic acanthus leaves. The handles are faceted. Each blade is monogrammed with a fancy script F & A as shown. The knives are 6 1/2” long and have been lightly polished. They are in excellent condition. We do note that one had a slightly bent tip which has been straightened and is most evident on close inspection. The price is for the set of seven. We are offering free shipping for this item. These are statement fruit knives that would enhance any collection of late 19th century sterling flatware. We have been in business for thirty years. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
