This large, 14" tall tankard was produced by the firm of Bawo & Dotter between the years of 1883-1914. They were a decorating studio and used the trademark, "Imperial Crown China", Austria. Their import office was in New York City and they purchased blanks from various European factories and decorated them in their studios in Carlsbad, Austria. This tankard is huge. It is 14" tall. The base is 5 3/4" in diameter. It is decorated with a neoclassical scene on one side. We can not locate an artist's signature. The pink borders have tiny raised enameled flowers and high points on the scene have also been enameled. It is in excellent condition overall. Note, however, that there is wear of the gold trim on the edges and high points on the mouth of the tankard and the handle commensurate with age and use. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs. It is marked on the bottom as shown. Felt pads have been glued to the base. We are very willing to answer any additional questions. We have been in business for 30 years.
