This 16" x 10 1/2" platter is in the Keukenhof pattern with a ruffled edge and it is an early piece of Mackenzie-Childs ware. It has the "Victoria and Richard" stamp as shown. The company was located in Aurora, NY and noted for its whimsical hand-crafted free-form style and decoration. MacKenzie-Childs pottery is highly sought after. This platter has been hung and not used for serving. It has been drilled along the base and the wires are still attached as is the original label. The pattern has been discontinued for some time. Keukenhof is the world's largest garden located in the Netherlands. The platter is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips,or repairs. It is a heavy piece and weighs 5 pounds. Note we recently acquired a collection of this and other MacKenzie-Childs patterns that we will be adding to our shop. Please e-mail us with any questions and visit often.
