This decanter and six matching cordials was most probably produced in the Black Forest region of Germany during the first quarter of the 20th century. Both the decanter and cordials have fine engraved country scenes of a windmill, barn, boat on a lake, trees, and birds. The handled cordial holders are Hana's style, presumably 800 fine silver, with pseudo hallmarks. The hallmark shown can not be attributed to a known Hanau firm. All the cordial holders have the same pseudo hallmark. The silver mounts on the decanter are not hallmarked. The stopper is faceted and encased in a silver net. The crystal is not marked. The only damage we note is a tiny flea bite on the inside rim of one of the cordials. The decanter is not cloudy. The decanter is 8 1/2" tall to the top of the stopper. The cordials are 2 1/8" tall and have an opening of 1 1/2". The price is for the set. Please email us if you have any questions. We have been in business for 30 years. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
