The 1847 Rogers Bros. Charter Oak pattern is one of the foremost and collectible silver plated patterns ever produced. It was introduced in 1906. Hollow handled forks are fairly hard to find. Period catalogs called this a dessert fork but it is also referred to as a luncheon fork. It is smaller than a dinner fork. It is 7 1/2" long and is in very fine condition. It was used sparingly if at all. There are no dings, dents, scratches, or wear of the plate to the base metal. The dark spots in some of the photos are photographic artifacts. It has never been monogrammed and is marked as shown. The price is for one and you can buy up to the number remaining. We are offering free shipping for this item for our U.S. Clients.
