This spoon was patented by Dominick & Haff in 1893 and retailed by Greenleaf and Crosby. The bowl features Palm trees and "Palm Beach" and "Lake Worth Florida". The handle features a simple but powerful stylized palm tree. The reverse features an engraving of the Royal Poinciana Hotel and also features the owners applied date of March 4th, 1905. This hotel was a Guilded Age, six story, wooden hotel that opened in 1893. It had accommodations for 2,000 guests. It closed and was razed during the Great Depression. The spoon is 6" long and is in excellent condition with no dings, dents, or bends. We are offering free shipping on this spoon for our U.S. clients.
