This spoon was produced between 1852-1853 when Chicago jeweler, Isaac Speer was in partnership with Edward Cosper on Lake Street. It is 8 3/4" long and marked on the reverse as shown. There is no other maker's mark. It is a standard, mid nineteenth century, fiddle handled serving spoon and monogrammed with a script A Wilber on the front as shown.
