Dating from 1910-1930, this gorgeous 14K bangle bracelet is rare because the gemstones go all the way around. Most often, they only adorn the top of such bracelets. Given the time frame of this bracelet and the steely brightness if the sapphires, it is entirely possible that they are of Montana origin.
The bracelet is designed for a wrist that measures 6 1/2 and larger. The inner measurement is 2 1/2 by 2 1/8, and it is 3/16" wide.
Seventeen genuine sapphires measure 4 mm in their bezels, and they have an estimated total weight of 4.42 carats.
Eighteen Old European cut diamonds of .05 ct each bring their total estimated weight to .90 ct.
The bracelet weighs 19.7 grams. It is unmarked but tests positive for 14K gold. It most certainly of American origin. The clasp is in excellent working order with a safety chain for added security.
