These vintage screw back earrings feature a white faux baroque pearl measuring 14mm X 8mm with filigree work that hangs below a smaller round white faux baroque pearl measuring 7mm across enclosed in filigree work. Both faux pearls are securely attached to the earring finding which is an adjusted clip screw back. The drop is 1 1/4 inches. The earrings are marked Miriam Haskell and Haskell on 2 places. There is also a Pat No which is 3176475 dating the earrings to the early 1960s. The patent for this clip was filed in 1962 and approved April 6, 1965. The inventor was N.J. Saccoccio. Miriam Haskell was a leader in luxury costume jewelry. These signed and marked Haskell earrings are in good condition with no visible damage and should be of great interest to a collector.
