For your consideration is an exquisite 19th Century, Limoges, Tressemann & Vogt, porcelain jardiniere/planter, which is artist signed and dated Dec. 13, 1899. The spectacular, ornate, hand painted jardiniere features a rococo design with large roses and leaves. The side panels have beautifully painted roses. The colors are a soft powder blue, pink and green shades with a white background. The large jardiniere has scrolling patterns with gold gilt and four gold pawed feet. The sides have two gold gilt round handles. Underneath the jardiniere, it has the green mark, T& V France. This is the Limoges mark, Tressemann & Vogt. It is signed in gold by the artist, Isabelle M Foley, dated Dec. 13, 1899. It measures approx. 10 1/2" height and 9 1/2" width. The condition of this item is very good, with only iron specks and it is without any visible cracks or hairlines. There is some wear to the gold gilt on the outer rim along the edge and to the pawed feet. There is only a very small chip to the edge, which I did photograph. This item will be double boxed for shipment.
