A fabulous vintage modernist rectangular cuff links and tack set, dating to the 1960's. They feature an impressive abstract design which was influenced by the famous artist, Piet Mondrian. They are gold tone with enamel and the cuff links are bullet backs. The colors are a wonderful vibrant blue, brown, yellowish beige and a chrome hue, that is somewhat reflective. This item is a wonderful example of the MOD fashion of the 1960's. The Ralph Destino Jewelry Co. was established in 1958 by Ralph Destino Sr. and his son, Ralph Destino Jr. During the 1960's his son was responsible for designing jewelry for Sak Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor. Each cuff link measures approx. 3/4 inch and the tack measures 3/8 inch. On the back of the cuff links, they are marked, Destino. This item is hard to find. The condition of this item is very good, with minimal wear to the enamel.
