A lovely 19th Century hand painted Bohemia porcelain vase from the Art Nouveau Period. This is a stunning vase which was created by the noted Alfred Stellmacher Imperial and Royal Porcelain Co., in Turn Teplitz, that was located in Bohemia. At a later date, this area would become part of the Czech Republic. In 1859, the factory produced very fine decorative porcelains, that were figural and very sculptural. The vase features a floral motif, with green foliage, reddish pink colored flowers and a delicately painted gold band, against a creamy yellow beige background. The design shows the influence of the Aesthetic Movement. The date of the vase would be 1859-1879. On the base, it has the blue mark, Alfred Stellmacher, Turn Teplitz. The condition of the vase is very good, without any visible cracks, repairs or chips. It has typical crazing and a very slight wear to the gilt located on band and the edge of the base. It measures approx. 5 1/2" height, 6 1/2" width and 4 3/4" base.
