A lovely Japanese 950 sterling silver spoon, with an image of a geisha figure wearing a kimono and holding a parasol. She has a fan in her hand and a Japanese musical instrument known as a shamisen at her feet. The spoon is decorated with cherry blossoms. On the back it is marked, Sterling 950. It has aged patina and the condition of this item is very good. Most likely, this would of been used as a tea caddy. The date of this item would be the 1930's. Dimensions: The spoon measures approx. 4 1/4" in length and 1" width.
