This is an antique silverplate Jennings Brothers jewelry casket with repousse. It features various neo-classical scenes with images of columns, children, guitar, peacock, man and woman. The interior of the jewelry casket is a green velvet. On the back, it is marked J.B. and no. 1350. The Jennings Brothers Company were noted manufacturers of fine art metal, including silverplate, bronzes, clocks, and other works. They were established in 1890 and originated in the Bridgeport, Conn. area. The condition of this item is very good. There is just slight wear to the velvet. The date of this item would be 1890. Dimensions: It measures approx. 4" in length, 2 1/2" in height and 3 1/8" in depth.
