For your consideration, a stunning original hand colored photograph, which features a noted walkway known as, "Shin Bone Alley" located in Bermuda. The photographer has captured the early beauty and atmosphere of this walkway during the 1910 or 20's. It is one of the well-known residential streets in Bermuda, filled with taverns and bars. Apparently this is why the name, shin bone, was derived from all the activity. The scene of the alley has a spectacular view, with a wonderful open crisp sky. The colors of the building are very inviting, with shades of grey, brown and green. In the right corner, it is signed in pencil, by the photographer, Stuart Hayward. The condition of the photograph is excellent. There is some wear to the frame and discoloration to the mat. It is under glass. It is a wonderful example of Bermuda Art in the early 1900's.
