This is a very large and beautiful Chinese export wedding bracelet c1920. The bracelet has beautiful symbology on every panel. On the side panels are longevity signs and lucky bats. On the front panel there are bats, prosperity symbols and longevity symbols. In the center it has a massive green aventurine cabochon measuring 21mm x 32mm. The bracelet measures just shy of 2" in the front and 7/8" in the back. It is about 7.25" long. The bracelet weighs 53 grams. Box style clasp with a removable guard chain. It is spectacular on the wrist and it makes quite a statement!
The bracelet is in very good vintage condition. The clasp and hinges work well. The silver work is in excellent condition and completely intact. This bracelet has some interesting history. The clasp is marked for silver but it also has Polish remarking stamps. These stamps indicate that it is 900+ silver and was imported to Poland some time in the 1960s. Possibly sold by a jeweler who was required to remark the bracelet for sale in Poland.
I have lightly polished the bracelet and left most of the patina on the bracelet. It is possible to polish the silver and make it brighter. If this is your preference please let me know upon checkout.
