This great big sweetheart is about the size of a 3 year old child. She was made between 1899 and 1910 and measures 35 inches tall. She is marked "23 France SFBJ 16" on the back of her head. She has perfect bisque with lovely painting, no damage and no repairs. Her brown blown glass eyes were set open at some point and new eyelashes added. She has an open mouth with 6 teeth and pierced ears with Jumeau earrings. She comes on her original huge 11 piece composition body. The stringing is somewhat loose but once she is on a stand she poses fine. I purchased her at the now-closed Washington DC Doll Museum many years ago, at which time I was told that one of the Coleman sisters had cataloged this doll, naming her Jennifer.
She wears an adorable antique dress made of windowpane cotton and trimmed with broderie anglaise; it has a dropped waist and a pleated skirt. I added aqua bows at the wrists and a matching sash. Underneath is a flannel slip and peach colored cotton panties. Her long socks are tan, shoes are old brown child's shoes.
Her new owner will be delighted. I will ship her UPS Ground, carefully packed, with no charge..
