Vintage Santa Clara black pottery Mudhead holding a bowl in his left arm by Paul and Dorothy Gutierrez. Meant to bring a smile to your face and to remind you to not take life too seriously, they are a specialty of Paul and Dorothy's – a couple married since 1965 and both coming from families who make fantastic Native American pottery. Dorothy is Navajo and Paul and is a Tewa Pueblo Indian.

This charming little guy holds a bowl in his left arm.

Stands about 1 ½ inches high and is marked DG PG on the bottom.
