Gorgeous Art Deco reverse painted glass photo frame that holds an 8 x 10 photo. Cream, black and silver reverse painted on a 10 x 12 inch piece of glass forms the front and the back is a brown with brown flocking and an easel that hold it steady as she goes.
The opening on the front where the image will show is about 8-5/8 X 6-3/4. The backing and glass are securely holding the glass to the backing and they feature an awesome Art Deco motif at each of the corners in the chromed-look metal pieces.
It does have some tiny little chippies along the edges of the glass, fairy common, and the back appears to be a replacement as it is not an exact size match - but by a very small bit. The damage to the back was lifted up to show more accurately it's location for the photo.
I considered not listing it here due to those little issues but decided that most people use these to display their photos and that's the important part – this frame is structurally sound and looks great on display. The break in the backing at the left side of the top could be glued if you so desired but it's very sturdy the way it is. The easel is structurally in good shape. Many of the easels on these are found heavily damaged so this one is really great!
Imperfections allow YOU to save money but still get the high priced look. The Fred & Ginger image is a standard print from my black and white laser printer. Easy to replace but looks amazingly good if you just want to look at Fred and Ginger. There have been few who could even compare to them in the old movies. Fred with the most amazing choreography and Ginger meeting him beat for beat while wearing enormous evening gowns and high heels.
