Lovely Edwardian Era 14K white gold filigree engagement ring, with a 2.6mm / .07 carat old transitional cut diamond set into a 6 mm x 6 mm squared top, containing double edged diamond engraving on top as well; gallery/sides and shoulders display beautiful filigree work of swags and flowers-a classic Edwardian theme. Although not huge, diamond is nearly colorless and has nice sparkle. Profile not too high-only measures 5 mm above finger level. The ring is a size 6 1/2 and although the band has thinned slightly over the years, could be sized up or down if needed. Interior and filigree work is in super condition. Acid tests for 14K gold. Weight is 1.55 grams. This unique old piece would make an elegant promise, engagement or right hand ring, or great one of a kind gift.
