This charming pitcher is a nice example of Victorian mold-blown glass. The unusually patterned body features a polished pontil and is finished with an applied reeded blue handle. We haven’t been able to pin it down to a specific American manufacturer so it is possible it was made in England or Europe. Wonderful quality glass and a unique design.
This charming example of Victorian glass is 5 3/4 inches high to the very top of the ruffle. Incredibly, this piece is in excellent condition considering its age with no chips, cracks or scratches . As with all glass from this period, annealing lines and small bubbles are not uncommon and are not considered damage.
