An early pattern produced by the Fostorian Glass Company is “Artichoke,” which appears in their 1891 advertisements. Offered here is an attractive goblet with frosting on the lower pattern. A prize for Fostoria or tumbler collectors. The tumbler stands 3 7/8 inches tall.
The overall condition is very good. The glass is clear with no wear on the interior. There are no chips or scratches anywhere on the body. There is a in-the-making bubble that popped on the body. As with all glass from this period, annealing lines and small bubbles are not uncommon and are not considered damage.
