The largest 0ld European Cut natural diamond is found in the fancy filigree central design on this attractive bracelet. The central design as well as all the other links include the milgrain work that was so popular in the early 1900's. There are 7 old cut diamonds in total, the largest is about 3mm in diameter. The diamonds run across the five adjoining center links; the larger decorative centerpiece holds 3 old Euro diamonds. The top portion of the bracelet is Platinum and the base is 14 Karat white gold. The hallmark, found on the back of the secondary safety clasp reads "14K" on one line and "Plat Top" above it in very tiny script.
There is a slim chain that runs along the interior of the bracelet (see reverse pic) and is attached at each end to the bracelet's final link. This chain was designed to add strength and does not show through while wearing. The bracelet is in great condition and although I believe the chain was part of the original design of the bracelet, the chain is not necessary to the bracelet as the bracelet has fully functioning links! This bracelet feels just like all other filigree bracelets in terms of fluidity and silkiness.
The bracelet weighs a comfortable 9.9 grams and measures 6 7/8" long. This is a good length for medium sized wrist.
