Offering a Circa 1910 to 1920 ring featuring a .58 carat Old European Cut central diamond set in a fancy box crown. The Old European Cut diamond is sparkling and white. The clarity grade is VS-1 (minor inclusions that are difficult to find under a 10 power lens) and the color grade is G (the high end of near colorless). Please refer to the final pictures to view an appraisal guide and see where your diamond evaluation lands on the color and clarity scale. There are no carbon marks to be found under ten power magnification. No chips to the diamonds. The diamonds are in great condition.
This ring is hallmarked (see pic.) and tests positive for platinum. This diamond ring is a step above the five and seven stone rings that have been so popular throughout the decades of the 1900's. It is an 11 stone ring with side diamonds running in double rows alongside the central stone terminating in a single diamond at each end. Quite an eye catcher!
This diamond and platinum ring is currently a size 7 3/4 and can easily be sized up or down as much as 2 sizes in either direction. I can perform that service for you at a charge of $30. When I size up, I add a section of platinum.
There are no repairs to this ring and the ring is not in need of repair. The appraisal comes with the ring and would be required if you should wish to insure your ring. The appraiser is a graduate gemologist.
