One of my favorite silversmiths! This wonderful creation was done by William B. Kerr. His designs of the late 1800's early 1900's were extremely elaborate and detailed. This one is no exception with its bold motifs of sea serpents and Medusa. A statement piece that will be noticed by all! This buckle measures 4 inches long by 2 3/8 inches at its widest point. Its combined total weight is 38.1 grams. Hallmarked on the back with the makers mark and design number 554. In good antique condition with expected signs of wear for a buckle. The nose of Medusa is indented but only noticed upon close inspection. This work of art would make a welcomed addition to your collection. Please examine photos closely and ask all questions prior to placing an order! Thank you!
