Offered for your collection is this beautiful Victorian era cameo brooch. Dating from the 1860's and set in 14k gold. No hallmarks are present but has been tested to insure the golds purity. Depicting a lovely portrait bust of a young lady. A fine detailed example with high relief work. This piece of lava was carved by a masters hand! Fantastic hair and roses she proudly looks to her right. Measuring 1 6/8 inches long by 1 1/2 wide. The lava is in good sound condition. Gold frame has some damage with a good functioning clasp. A great work of art thats ready to be admired! Please examine the photos closely and ask all questions prior to placing an order. Thanks~
