An extremely unique watch fob. This is one of the most unusual watch fobs we have ever seen come through our store. It is in the shape of many Masonic or Nights of Templar fobs but other than its shape has not connection to the fraternal organizations. Each quadrant of the cross is fitted with beveled glass, some of the panels are chipped as shown in the photos. Each quadrant is filled with raw gold shavings. There is some corrosion in a couple of the sections. on the front it is set with one round brilliant cut Mozambique garnet. The other side probably had a diamond in it but has since been removed. And could have a stone of your choice put back in. The piece measures over 1.25" wide. It is not hallmarked but has been tested and is 14k yellow gold. It is engraved on three sides of the piece, "Martin Welsh to JJ Maxey Los Angeles Cal". Circa 1910. A great item to add to any ones collection. This would make an awesome pendant for guy or gal.
