A wonderful example of Japanese red Sumida ware. From the Meiji period, 1930. This vase is signed on the bottom as shown in the pictures. It measures 7.25" tall and 3.25" in diameter at the widest. You will also see in the photos where the lip of the vase has been repaired. Two pieces had broken out of it at some point in its life and have been glued back in quite well. This is not very noticeable. Price reflects the "as is" condition of the piece.
