Large Bowl Wheels, Ovals, Arches Imperial Pressed Glass
This stunning and sparkling crystal bowl was made by Imperial Glass, Bellaire Ohio in the early 1900s. The bowl is 9.25 inches across by 3.25 inches deep. This is an unmarked Nucut pattern.
The pattern is very ornate and features buttons, hobstars, wheels, arches, fans and beads. The primary pattern is circles, ovals, and arches. The bowl has a 6 point star in the bottom with a three pronged fan at the corner of each star point. The center bottom has an 8 point hobstar with 3-pronged fans at each corner of the star. The rim has a sawtooth edge.
There are 4 distinct mold marks on the bowl. The bowl is made of heavy pressed EAPG crystal. Imperial made this pattern in the early 1900s. This is Imperial's pattern 750 (Edwards Standard Encyclopedia of Pressed Glass, p. 155).
There are no chips or cracks; however, the bowl does have straw marks (manufacturing flaws).
