I love this antique Pyrography Art wall plaque that I purchased at a little country Auction House here in Pennsylvania.
Signed and dated 1910.
Three vignettes of Native American Indians.
Laughing Water, Minnehaha and Hiawatha.
Between each vignette are tomahawks and moccasins.
The faces, tomahawks and moccasins are painted with black, dark red and green.
The plaque measures 20" long and is 6" high. There are two screws for hanging in the top.
Also signed on the bottom right corner with initials.
The wood does show a few spots of wear. The two right corners have slight chipping (as shown in photos).
It is a wonderful piece of antique American art and would please any American Indian collector.
