Here is a fantastic pewter pen designed by Harmony Kingdom's artist, Peter Calvesbert. The top shows a jester-like fool, and the bottom has a cuckoo bird laying its egg in the basket of another bird so someone else has the work of hatching it. Once hatched, the cuckoo pushes the other eggs out of the nest.
This pewter pen was available as an April Fool's Day offering to active Royal Watch club members from April 1, 1998 through July 4, 1998. The pen is a limited edition, and is numbered on the nib. This one is #1814.
The pen comes packaged in a hand crafted wooden box that has the Harmony Kingdom logo carved on the top. The pen is fully usable and uses Cross Pen refills.
Harmony Kingdom creations have been extremely popular since they were introduced over twenty years ago.
This retired pewter pen is in perfect new condition, from the inventory of a closed store, and it will come in the original Harmony Kingdom box. This collectible is referenced in "The Harmony Kingdom Reference Guide" by Leanna Barron (2002), page 186.
