This Harmony Kingdom Treasure Jest is called "Turdus Felidae", and features a white cat with a large bird resting on his head. The bird is protecting a small mouse between its wings, and another mouse is hiding in the elbow of the cat. The bird has left a calling card on the cat's arm in the form of "poop". This interesting box figurine honors two people named Rob and Jay, who once had a website (in the 1990s) where they asked for Harmony Kingdom collectors to tell any rumors they might hear related to new Treasure Jests, retirements, and anything related to the Harmony Kingdom company.
This box is a 1st Edition, as shown by the hallmarks on the front. The interior of Version One contains "To Jay". Master carver, Peter Calvesbert, has inserted lots of hidden secrets on this Treasure Jest, including an email address. This box figurine is crafted of a mixture of marble resin, after having first been hand carved in clay. Released in 1999, this "Turdus Felidae" was retired in 2004.
This Treasure Jest is in perfect condition, from the inventory of a closed store. It will come in its green box, with certificate and brochure. This popular collectible is referenced in "The Harmony Kingdom Reference Guide" by Leanna Barron (2002). All Harmony Kingdom items are hand crafted, using crushed marble, from original models; then each is hand-painted and tinted by citizens of the rural English countryside of the South Cotswolds for a one-of-a-kind figurine. There are differences in colorations on each piece.
