Here is a Harmony Kingdom Treasure Jest called "Mutton Chops" that was made in England exclusively for the Royal Watch Club. Sculpted by Peter Calvesbert and based on the Aesop fable of a wolf in sheep's clothing, the box figurine features two placid sheep and a hungry wolf in sheep's clothing. Peter is one of the master carvers at Harmony Kingdom, and he usually hides a mouse on his works; on this sculpture the mouse is tucked in the lamb's wool on the wolf's back. Inside the box are shown two lamb chops.
"Mutton Chops" was released in 1998 as part of the collectors club, and was retired by the end of that year. Hallmarks include the copyright, diamond, HBC logo, edition number, and PC. As shown in the picture, this box is a #1, for first edition.
Harmony Kingdom boxes are hand crafted, using marble resin, from original carvings. Then each is hand painted and tinted for a one-of-a-kind figurine. The boxes are hand painted by citizens of the rural English countryside of the South Cotswolds. There are differences in colorations on each piece.
"Mutton Chops" is in perfect condition, never displayed, from the inventory of a closed store. It will come in a green Harmony Kingdom box, along with brochures. This vintage collectible had limited production, with outstanding details and colors.
