Here is a large Harmony Kingdom box figurine that features a group of six toads huddled together. Carved by artist Peter Calvesbert, "Rather Large Huddle" is an enlarged version of a smaller Treasure Jest. Each toad is different: one wears a ring, another wears a watch, and one wears a necktie. Peter's signature mouse is trapped under a toad on the top, but you will have a time trying to find him. There are more secrets and funny things to find; this box will entertain for quite awhile.
The bottom has the green felt covering, but because it is an early sculpture, it does not have a carving inside of the box. The hallmarks are on the lower bottom, and include an apple, clock face with month 10, the Harmony Ball logo, and Pc (for Peter Calvesbert). Released in 1996, this early Treasure Jest was retired in 1998. This box is one of the larger ones and does have some weight to it.
Harmony Kingdom boxes are hand crafted, using marble resin, from original carvings. Then each is hand painted and tinted for a one-of-a-kind figurine. The boxes are hand painted by citizens of the rural English countryside of the South Cotswolds. There are differences in colorations on each piece.
This Treasure Jest is in perfect condition, from the inventory of a closed store, and it will come in the original Harmony Kingdom green canister box with place card. This popular collectible is referenced in "The Harmony Kingdom Reference Guide" by Leanna Barron (2002).
