Carved by Harmony Kingdom artist, Peter Calvesbert, "Menage a Trois" features three amorous tree frogs. This Treasure Jest is Version One, as shown by the number "1" on the base. Inside of Version 1 are two bottles of French wine, bread, cheese, and grapes. Later versions have a different carving inside. Peter's signature mouse appears tucked inside a frog's arm. Also, you might find a tiny fish hiding among the frogs.

The hallmarks for the box figurine are on the lily pad, and include the copyright mark, a star, the HBC logo, the edition #, and Pc (for Peter Calvesbert). The label on the bottom of the box shows it was made in England. This Treasure Jest was released in June 1998 and is now retired.

Harmony Kingdom boxes are hand crafted, using marble resin, from original carvings. Then each is hand painted and tinted for a one-of-a-kind figurine. The boxes are hand painted by citizens of the rural English countryside of the South Cotswolds. There are differences in colorations on each piece.

This Treasure Jest is in perfect condition, from the inventory of a closed store, and it will come in the original Harmony Kingdom green box with brochure. This popular collectible is referenced in "The Harmony Kingdom Reference Guide" by Leanna Barron (2002), page 62.
