Collectors of the Harmony Kingdom Treasure Jests will be delighted with this Extra Large box figurine called "Unbearables". Carved by Peter Calvesbert, "Unbearables" was the first in a series of signed and numbered multi-compartment limited editions. This Treasure Jest depicts a picnic overrun by eight very hungry and curious bears. There is a group of six humans and three dogs dealing with the bears. The top portion has four openings, and the bottom portion has a small miniature of "Unbearables" inside. As you turn the box around, you will see the bears eating food and creating havoc to the people. This is one of the largest of all of the Treasure Jests, and is very heavy.

"Unbearables" was introduced in 1995 and retired in 1999; it was made in England. Of the top four openings, one lid is signed by Peter Calvesbert, the master carver of the box. It is hand numbered, and this box is #919, and a Certificate of Authenticity is included. There are so many details and secrets with this box ... a remarkable sculpture.

Harmony Kingdom boxes are hand crafted, using marble resin, from original carvings. Then each is hand painted and tinted for a one-of-a-kind figurine. The boxes are hand painted by citizens of the rural English countryside of the South Cotswolds, and there are differences in colorations on each piece. "Unbearables" is referenced in "The Harmony Kingdom Reference Guide" by Leanna Barron (2002), page 160.

This Treasure Jest is in perfect condition, from the inventory of a closed store, and it will come in the original Harmony Kingdom green box with certificate. Being that this Harmony Kingdom sculpture is large and heavy, we will take extra care in packing. It was originally priced at $425.00 when released, but we are offering it at a discounted price of $175.00.
