This clever Harmony Kingdom box figurine is called "Rocky's Raiders" and features Rocky Raccoon and his three friends in the midst of a robbery. In the course of escaping, they are delayed by the antics of Tubs the Turtle who is hanging onto one raccoon's ear. Another raccoon will have to rescue the youngest member of the gang who is stuck inside a tree trunk. Rocky himself is tempted by a bottle of champagne.
Carved by Harmony Kingdom artist, Peter Calvesbert, this Treasure Jest was released in January 1998 and was retired in 2000. Peter's signature mouse is peeking from a part of the tree. Inside of the box are the stolen items: camera, watch, ring, necklace, pen, and a bag of money, plus coins. The hallmarks are on the top edge, and include a heart, the Harmony Kingdom logo, PC, and a "2" for second mould; the "c" for copyright is on the opposite side.
Harmony Kingdom boxes are hand crafted, using marble resin, from original carvings. Then each is hand painted and tinted for a one-of-a-kind figurine. The boxes are hand painted by citizens of the rural English countryside of the South Cotswolds. There are differences in colorations on each piece.
This retired Treasure Jest is in perfect condition, from the inventory of a closed store, and it will come in the original Harmony Kingdom green box with brochure. We will include some small brochures with information on Harmony Kingdom. This popular collectible is referenced in "The Harmony Kingdom Reference Guide" by Leanna Barron (2002), page 72.
