Here is a Harbour Lights ornament that represents a lighthouse on Burrows Island, Washington. There is so much detail on this small lighthouse; it shows how the lighthouse would look in winter snow. The ornament is signed on the bottom by Bill Younger, the man who founded the Harbour Lights company, and dated "00", when he appeared at the Atlanta International Collectible Exposition in 2000.
This ornament was released in 1996 and retired in 1999. The ornament is in perfect condition, from the inventory of a closed gift shop. It comes in the original box, along with a small bronze coin that was given to collectors at the Atlanta show in Spring 2000.
This detailed lighthouse ornament is crafted of solid resin and all hand painted. The bottom has a green felt covering along with a Harbour Lights label. I have shown a couple of pictures with a penny next to the ornament so you can see the size.
Harbour Lights made the best miniature lighthouse sculptures. Every detail is in place and the quality is evident in each figure. The company went out of business in 2012.
Harbour Lights sculptures are highly collected; this outstanding lighthouse is featured in "The Official Collectors Guide to Harbour Lights" by John Chidester.
