Here is a vintage Vera silk long scarf in a colorful design of different shades of brown, gray, and gold. The abstract design is similar on each side of the scarf, with the colors being different. It has a somewhat tie-dye look to it. The silk has a wonderful feel to it, and it drapes beautifully.
On one corner is the Vera logo with a ladybug and the copyright sign; I think it dates to the early 1960s. The Vera label is not attached. But, it is obvious that the scarf has a hand-rolled appearance. The silk fabric itself has a bit of weave to it; not sure as how to describe it, but it is not parachute silk.
SIZE: 46 inches long & 17 inches wide
CONDITION: The scarf is in very good vintage condition; I see some small stains but they blend so well with the design that you might think they are part of the design.
This scarf has been folded, along with many other scarves, in a dresser drawer for over ten years. I have not washed or cleaned it, but it seems to be in a rather clean condition.
